A very warm welcome
I’m Caroline Worsley, founder of Mahra Massage & Mentorship, an experienced and intuitive women’s holistic therapist. I deliver divine treatments to restore body and soul at my home-based practice in Rawdon, north-west Leeds. When I’m not in my therapy room, I’m a patient, encouraging mentor providing support to small business owners and therapists in Yorkshire (or further afield online) and a hospice nurse.
Mahra Massage was established in 2014 and has come a long way since then. During the final year of my long and varied nursing career, I trained in complimentary therapies and massage. With a young family at home, I left the NHS and began nurturing women in my therapy room with holistic wellbeing treatments.
My specialities are holistic massage for relaxation and restoration, pregnancy massage and bespoke facials using effective, certified organic skincare. All of the products I use are entirely cruelty-free. I also provide skincare consultations and support virtually on Zoom and FaceTime for those further afield.
The mentorship aspect to Mahra evolved due to my role as a senior leader for award-winning lifestyle brand Neal’s Yard Remedies. Due to my accomplishments and recognition in sales and business development with the brand, I realised I had an aptitude for developing and nurturing wellbeing practitioners, direct-sellers and therapists to grow and lead their own businesses. My interests are increasing profit margins of small businesses (including therapy rooms and spas) through brand activation and setting up effective and simple communication systems. I do this through 1:1 or group mentorship both online and in person (depending on preference and location).
What’s in a name?
MAHRA = MARTHA + ZAHRA
Becoming mum to Z & M instilled in me a sense of courage and bravery I had not experienced prior to motherhood. Most people thought I was mad to leave a dependable organisation and a respected nursing career with all it many securities. However, my girls inspired me to have a new lease of life working at home around them and their needs whilst re-discovering an entrepreneurial spirit that I always knew had been there all along.
Here with Mahra is where I thrive and I will help you do this too.
